Doreen Ingram is an author of children’s books written to teach and share a message about endangered wildlife, conservation, and volunteerism. Her goal is not only to teach and inform our next generation of the plight of these animals, but also to instill empathy and bring the declining populations of many endangered wildlife to the forefront. Though her books are written in the “voice” of the animals, they are non-fiction stories and the animals really live at the sanctuaries for which they are written.
